Is 1 800 Petmeds a good place for pet medication?

Our pomeranian has cushings disease, and it costs my grandmother sixty dollars for her prescription. Would 1800 Petmeds be cheaper? Also how does that work? Does the vet call in the prescription?
It is Prednisone 5mg. I found this one on the is one website, but how could it be that cheap?

Advantage for cats is cheaper from an online Australian store, even with higher shipping, but I don’t know if it’s legal to import this to the US for my use. The store suggests checking with authorities as the meds are in Australian packaging. Does anyone know which authority I would check with?

We have used flea meds in the past on our cats and it worked just fine (same brand). However, this is the first time in a year at least that we bought some. After putting it on the backs of their necks, we assumed the fleas would die as in the past. However, now the flea dirt is out of control and there are MORE fleas. What happened? Should I ask my vet for more (free)? We spent for three treatments. Why didn’t it work this time?

Question about 1-800-PetMeds?

Ok so I took my two cats to the vet today so they could get the rabies vaccination, and the vet recommended this thing called Revolution where it prevents all sorts of things like heartworms, fleas, etc. Anyway, she was naming the prices and it was really expensive, so I said I’d like to try it, except I’d probably just order it off of 1-800-PetMeds and she was like "Oh no, don’t do that, it’s not the same. It doesn’t come straight from the manufacturer and all sorts of people have handled it, meaning it could not work the way it’s supposed to." She said something about a black market for it and that they said it was the same thing but really it wasn’t. I’m confused. I’ve used 1-800-PetMeds for some time and it’s never failed. Is this true…or is she just trying to get me to pay more money? The cost was already 1 for the appointment so I don’t see why I need to spend more…
Thanks!
