The idea is that you wash and rinse your pet, then mix Skin So Soft with warm water, pour it over them and rub it into the coat, then let it air dry on them… it will repel fleas and ticks.

Has anyone tried this? Does it work? On both cats and dogs (I have one of each)?

And if you have tried this, what is the ratio of SSS to warm water.

Fleas!! Ticks!! How should I treat my sensitive cat?

My cat has digestive problems. I’m worried about treating him for fleas and ticks but have found evidence of both in the apartment. Even found an engorged tick crawling across my living room wall.

I put a kitten flea/tick collar on him a week ago and he scratches like mad. He even wakes up scratching his neck furiously. I don’t know if it’s fleas or the collar.

I can’t disregard the fleas but what else can I do?

Thanks

I just got my first cat; his name is Duke and I love him dearly. I need to get him on a flea treatment. I know the topical skin treatments work well, but will the Frontline spray treatment penetrate his fur well enough to repel and kill fleas and ticks. I ask this because I’m trying to be economical, and it looks as if I would save an astronomical amount of money if I used the spray.

Give me your knowledge, cat owners.

Since my cats are outdoor mainly, and thus exposed to fleas and ticks, this needs to be something that really works! (They also come into our garage and basement–then when they leave, WE get the fleas!!!) I’ve been using typical flea preventative–Biospot–but I would like to stop using pesticides on my cats.

My cat has ticks, he was an outside cat but I brought him in for the winter.

He has ticks, and it scares me because I don’t want ticks on me or him. I only have 25$ to spend on something for him, should I use shampoo? Also, what do I do when I find them on him? Right now I rip them out with tweezers, since I don’t know what else to do…help?

Is there something 25 dollars and under that works for fleas and ticks?
Are the ticks going to get on me?
I’m mostly asking for what PRODUCT I should use on him…
I have had this cat for nine years…he is ten years old, so he is fixed and had his shots already.

What products do you use on your cats to keep ticks away?
