Ebay has sellers selling large dog frontline plus flea control to be used on cats. They provide a small vial to store the frontline in and a syringe to administer the correct amount, 0.5ml for cats. The large dog frontline contains 4ml so you get 8 doses for cats. My question is, does the dog frontline plus contain the same ingredients as cat frontline plus and is it safe for my cats? Thanks!

I am looking for a product that will keep ticks off my 3 cats, or at least kill them more quickly. Frontline spray didn’t do a good job against ticks so I am trying Revolution now but it also takes longer than I like. The ticks are on my cats for a few days before they die and the blasted things get in my house and on me from my cats. Gross!
Fleas are not a problem but I would like to keep using something to prevent infestations. I don’t mind using more than one product, one for fleas and one for ticks, IF it is safe for my cats.
How well do tick collars work and can they be used in conjunction with Revolution?
Any advice is much appreciated.

I was petting my cat and found a strange white oval bump on his head. I think that it might be a tick, but I am not sure if ticks are white. I tried to look closer, but he does not like to be probed. Does anyone know what this may be?
