Can I use Advantage for cats on my dog?

The dog is smaller that a cat.
Does anyone know if I have to take my dog to vet? I mistakenly put frontline plus for cats on a 20 lb dog?

The one for the cat contains 11.8% methoprene and the one for the dog only contains 8.8% . Will this harm my dog

I pulled a big grey tick of of my kitten this morning (the bubble ticks that are always found on cats). It was under her chin. I think I pulled it all out cause I saw the black legs, but Im not sure. How do I know if I got the head out?
